Files and share sheet
Exporting Stock to CSV
Export the current list, use the iOS share sheet, save to Files or Google Drive, and understand CSV columns.
How to export
SneakerScan can export the currently selected stock list as a CSV file. CSV files work with spreadsheet tools, accounting workflows, warehouse checks, and marketplace listing processes.
- Open the Stock tab.
- Select the stock list you want to export.
- Open the stock list menu.
- Choose Export CSV.
- Use the iOS share sheet to save or send the file.
Where can I save the CSV?
iOS controls which destinations appear in the share sheet.
Common options include:
- Save to Files
- AirDrop
- Messages
- Numbers
- Excel
- Google Drive, if installed and enabled
SneakerScan cannot force a particular destination to appear first. If Google Drive is not shown, check that the Google Drive app is installed and that its share extension is enabled.
What gets exported
The CSV includes one row for each stock row in the selected list. The export includes a Quantity column, so a row with quantity 3 stays as one CSV row with quantity 3.
Columns:
- Brand
- Model
- UK Size
- EU Size
- US Men's Size
- US Women's Size
- US Kids Size
- Colour Way
- Style Code
- Quantity
- Created At
- Updated At
Empty lists
You can export an empty stock list. The CSV will contain the column headers only, which can be useful as a template.
Dates and special characters
Created At and Updated At use ISO-8601 date formatting. This makes them easier to sort in spreadsheet software.
SneakerScan formats CSV values so commas, quotes, and line breaks are escaped correctly. For example, a colourway containing a comma should still open in the correct spreadsheet column.
File names
Exported files use names like:
SneakerScan-Current-Stock-2026-06-17-1730.csv
If a stock list name contains characters that cannot be used safely in a file name, SneakerScan replaces them.
